+ logan was sitting in the library, finishing homework that was due next period. he breezed through the math problems easily and hummed to himself. he glanced around at the other kids who were at the computer or reading. he was counting down the hours until baseball practice began.

+ olivia sat in the loud classroom and tapped her foot impatiently. her spiked flat hit the floor at a rapid pace as she stared at the clock that seemed to be ticking slower than normal. she adjusted her bangs and stood up as soon as the bell rang out through the school. she was finally able to go sit outside for her study block of the day. she held her books close to her chest as she weaved through the crowd to the courtyard. she sat down at one of the picnic tables in the sunshine and closed her eyes for a moment.

- emilee alyse blake ; eighteen ; emilee is logan's twin sister. she is five minutes younger than he is and five times meaner as well. they are as opposite as fire and ice. while logan is sweet and kind-hearted, she is pessimistic and catty towards everyone around her. sometimes they get along but usually they are very ambivalent towards the other.
 
bio: logan is a sports star. he is a great defensive linesman for the high school's football team and pitcher for the baseball team. he's the one that the entire school knows as 'the jock' or 'the mvp'. he grew up with a well-off family that consisted of his two parents and twin sister. though he was born first, he doesn't make the rules. he usually follows what his twin sister emilee says to avoid conflict. the two are polar opposites. while he is funny and outgoing, she is mean and somewhat closed-off. he does love her and loves to pick on her which she doesn't negatively react to. he enjoys spending time with his family but sometimes feels as if they are too picture perfect and feels suffocated. his mother adores him and coddles him in every way. she is his number one fan and ally. his dad taught him everything about sports and has taken him to professional games since he was a child. daniel is a renowned neurosurgeon and often works late at the hospital whereas his mother, kimberly, works a nine to five day and takes over the role as stepford mom when she finishes at work. logan takes to spending time at large raves or parties to escape the perfect atmosphere and let loose. in addition to leaving, he also took to listening to older music. he acquired a taste for eighties and nineties music and became exclusive to older music.
 
logan isn't the brightest guy, but he tries. as a kid, he had severe adhd and dyslexia which make it exceedingly difficult for him to learn to read correctly. he usually ends his courses with a b or c which is enough to appease his parents. emilee often helps him when he needs it and on occasion writes his papers for him. they bond through this. unlike reading, he exceeds in math. he is able to catch on easily and figure out some of the most difficult problems in little time. during the summer, he works a children's sports camp. he enjoys working with the younger kids because they show him that life isn't too serious. he wants to go in to playing sports professionally but also help kids whenever he can after he graduates from high school.
 
probability used to be a factor for him. he'd base whether he would try on the likelihood of him passing an exam or if he would make the play or choose another one on the fly. it was a factor until he realized that he could change the outcome of situations. he began with little things such as bets with his friends and moved on to whether or not he passed a test or whether or not someone chose to do something that he didn't agree with. he found out that he was ability to alter the probability of an outcome or change the likelihood of something. he began using it frequently and stopped when his counselor questioned him about his improved grades. logan isn't a bad person but sometimes allows his anger to get the best of him and would change the outcome of them falling while in the hall or being with a person. he is still slowly figuring out how to use and control his unique gift.

olivia was rarely seen as normal. as a child, she was constantly dreaming of something much larger than herself. she has always adored large cities; she feels as if that is where she belongs. olivia loves the hustle and bustle that comes with the large population and towering buildings. new york city happens to be her favorite based solely on the fact that she loves theater, she aspires to be a performer and is acutely capable of doing such. children always were mean to her and saw her as bossy and bratty when she just wanted things to be perfect and fun. she often spent her time at home playing alone or with one or two people who didn't dislike her such as her friend gregory. in school, she often sat at the front of the classroom, in the middle. she was very bright and that grew to build her three point eight grade point average that she has carried through high school. she grew up to be strong and able to handle negativity with ease because of her childhood. she is unafraid to state how she feels or her opinion and will stand alone or passionately argue when she feels that she is in the right. olivia hates bullies; she frequently peer counsels younger students who have had problems with bullies and has found a space in her heart for helping people. liv tries to be a good person through peer counseling and trying to be nice to others though sometimes she is shunned or shut down. she is supportive of those who she peer counsels and remains attached to them even when they are no longer in counseling. she is a devout vegan and does all she can for the environment. she is an open-minded person and tries to not allow what is popular to cloud her vision but rather focuses on what is truly right. because of her estrangement from some of the other people in her school, she often spends her time alone and upset though she is able to pretend she is not for her parents' sake.
 
olivia's home life is not unsatisfying. she loves both of her parents dearly but wishes that she had been given another sibling growing up so that she would have been able to have interaction with someone who would love her no matter what. she never was denied much as a child and was able to experience a lot while growing up. because of her father's income, the family was able to afford international vacations and frequent trips to the city for her to see her beloved broadway shows. her mother and father, though in love, often fought while liv was growing up. she has become determined that she would never put her child through hearing their parents fight over inane things. she has always had a dog while growing up. her dogs were always large and playful rather than small or obnoxious. she finds larger dogs as better company so when she is upset, she has someone. she enjoys taking her pet boxer, belle, on runs and to the park. olivia likes running and dancing to keep her active and is thankful for her genes that came from two fit parents. she has taken dance lessons since she could walk and loves the rush of performing. olivia's talent has given her opportunities such as touring with a children's chorus through the country and performing in 'the nut cracker' as clara. olivia is a member of the drama club and an honor thespian as she has done theater since she was in middle school and adores it. olivia finds performing to be an escape.
 
as well as performing, dreaming and day-dreaming have been things that olivia has used to escape since childhood. she has elaborate, vivid dreams that are also a gift and a curse. she realized that something was off when in middle school he had a dream that her dog passed away and came home from school later that day only to have her mother gently tell her that her saint bernard that was thirteen years old had died while it was sleeping. she kept it to herself and has yet to tell anyone that she has precognitions of the future while she is asleep. however, olivia finds that when others are asleep, she can frequently become a part of the dreams of others'. she is unable to change the course of them and can only witness them which allows her to understand people to a deeper extent. she has often bought books and gone to classes on sleeping and how the brain dreams. she has gotten to the point that she can find the symbolism in one's dreams without batting an eyelash. she has kept this to herself despite being told by many that they have seen her in one of their dreams. she continues to try and see what will happen in the future and keeps it in her notebook that she constantly carries in her bag.
